The SDC2.5 Series is the latest improvement on our most popular woofer. We have increased the motor power, throw and upgraded the suspension and cone to give you even more for your money. The
SDC2.5-D4 subwoofers were designed for today's car audio systems. High powered sound systems require high power subs that are built to handle the load. The SDC2.5 was designed for 500-600 watt per driver sound systems, this matches well with the 500-600 watt mono blocks driving a single woofer, or the 1000-1200 watt mono-blocks driving a pair of woofers. These subs were designed to hit hard, sound great and last a long time. The 2.5" DUAL voice coil diameter is big enough to handle the long-term power while light enough in mass to yield high output. The coil is coupled to a strong multi-fiber cone that is reinforced with an epoxy resin dust cap. The EROM, high roll surround is efficient in both excursion and cone area. The suspension follows our philosophy of multiple, high compliance spider layers for tight bass with low fatigue over the long haul. The lead wires are formed into these spider layers which further enhances durability and eliminates lead slap/breakage problems. The frame is cast aluminum with a sandblasted, powder coat finish. The motor parts are all machined with a black epoxy finish to aid in heat transfer. The tight tolerances of the SD2.5 motor provides high energy without excess weight. These subs use the finest parts that can be found, are hand assembled to maintain the tightest tolerances and made especially for you. Everything about the SDC2.5 subs is dedicated to delivering the pounding bass you need. The SDC2.5 series fills the void between the SDC2 series and the HDC3 super woofer. It is the perfect choice for raising the bar in power levels to get that extra bass but still be in the 500-600 watts power range.
TS measurements taken after one hour break-in from BNIB random samples
We recommend allowing several weeks of playing time to break in SQ Woofers, full break in may take many months.
play subwoofers at max amplifier power in the first couple of days, give the suspensions a chance to loosen up. As the suspension breaks in, the subs will play lower and louder.

Amazing for the price
Hi, Ive been playing on these for about a week now. 4.3 cubes tuned to 36 htz, single 6" aero port, birch box. All this combined with my amp (hifonics zrx.2000.1D which is temporary until i get my AQ/SQ 2200) and my kinetic hc2400. these things get nasty loud, hit every note, lows are still weak and quiet but the suspensions still need to loosen. Cant wait til they dig deep and hit those lows. Louder than almost anything near its price.

After a ton of research I decided to pick of two of these SDC 2.5 and have not looked back. Right now I only have the two on 300 watts (1/4 power) to break them in and are absolutely pounding. I have these subs in a 4.5 cubic foot box. I will definitely be going to AQ/SQ for all my audio needs in the future. BUY THESE SUBS, YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY.
I have two of these on an AQ2200 tuned at -5dB with the DD.1. They are in a 4.5 cu ft box tuned to 36hz. Firing forward sealed off from the trunk they are insane. Nail the lows. They do hurt a bit, but this is the first loud system I've had. They sure can handle the power, if it is clean.
Best Subs I've Owned
Better than my old kicker 15" L5's. MY friends can't even sit in the backseat of my 10 Caliber. haha have them on a AQ1200
These are AMAZING. definitely worth your money. I have two and a audioque 1200d and they rattle my whole truck. people wont believe you when you say theyre only 12s. great buy.
12 hdc 2.5
These subs r nice. Nott double stiched like in the pics or in the descrip. But they sound good, SPL audio has the same exact sub with a larger mag, for 140 its not bad but SPL has a much higher power handling cause of the extra mag weight. overall good sub but even the HDC4 is no comparison to the dub7 unless uve had it dont talk. the dub7 has over 13 patents, nuff said. And AQ make ur subs in the usa... Cmon, we wanna support our country not shit hole CHINA.
Something you should look in to
I have had alot of systems trying to find the best one i could find. i had 2 jl audio 10w6s and this sub beats them by far. it is a very clean crisp sound to it and is loud at the same time. highly recommend this sub
Way better then best buy
I bought two of these and a 1200d, and man these are ridiculus for the price i paid, might go big some day and get hdc4's, but these are deffinetly worth the cash.

One bad ass sub
These out perform any if not all 12 inch sub on the market.W7 bring it on.Well maybe the HD 12 LOL, Defiantly no the crap you buy at an audio store.
I bought a set of these to replace my Fosgate p2's. WOW, what a major difference. Using a 4.5 cube vented box tuned at 34 Hz. These 12's really knock. I am running them with a US Amps MD1D, I intend this spring on moving to an AQ amplifier. These are AMAZING SUBS, well worth your hard earned money. Great product DJ !!!!!!!!
