Updates Galore!

When we engineered our latest sub line up we set out to offer a sub-woofer for every application, and we we've managed to accomplish just that.

While you're deciding which woofer will work best with your system you'll notice there are two classes of Sound Qubed woofers; HDS (Heavy Duty Street) and HDC (Heavy Duty Competition).

The HDS (Heavy Duty Street) series is for perfect for SQL systems.  They'll deliver block rattling bass on 600-1200 watts RMS.  They're available with a 2.5" or 3" coil depending on what best fits your application. The HDS subs will make sure they hear you before they see you!

The HDC (Heavy Duty Competition) are exactly as the name states! Everything about the HDC is bigger and badder than anything that even comes close to the same price on the market. We recommend having 1500-2000 watts RMS minimum to realize the true potential of the HDC sub-woofers.The HDC motors are bigger, the cones are stiffer, they have 10 gauge direct connect leads, and we use the best 3" and 4" high temperature voice coils available. They'll still perform well in high power daily applications, but we truly designed these to take a beating in competition

We've worked hard to design these for you, and can guarantee that no matter the series you go with, you won't be disappointed. For more specific questions about any SoundQubed product please give us a call (405-600-1936) or send us an email. We'll be more than happy to assist!

It was destiny! lol cant wait. Doing 4 hds310's on 2 kx2400.1s. Thank u SQ for killin it on the new series and u nailed it with the free shipping. That was the reason I wasn't going with ur subs b4 last Friday sad to say but only had 200 or so per sub 2 spend. -Eric

I see the hdc3 series has changed. We the ratings at least. Did you guys change anything from compared to the previous version?? I ask because I already have one 12 on 1800 watts and my final plan will be 2 12s and 1.8k per sub so will there be an issue between the 2 or no?

Thanks for the feedback ladies and gents! @Caleb - Nothing has changed on them suspension, coil, and cone wise, however the baskets and motors have. With the new cooling options we were able to raise the RMS!

New to the scene but I'm getting lots of recommendations for your products. I drive a 98 gmc sierra extended cab. I just ordered the super tweeters and your pro audio 6.5's and I am planning on getting a pair of your hds300 10's but I'm not removing my rear seats just wondering if you could recommend a good prefab ported box that the subs would mount in. Any info would help can't wait to hear your products.

Ordered an HDC310 to put in a nice ported box. This is going to sound awesome, can't wait for spring time! Had 2 SDC2.5 12-D4, they sounded amazing. I was scared to put it up because it would take my breath away. Those are some bad @$$ subs! Deciding to put them back or go with the one 10. Either way, being SQ, it will POUND!

Blew two old CVS 12s and was actually going to buy a couple of 5th Gen Type R's when I found a video of the hds series on YouTube. Bought two hds 300 12's a new amp AND the ear buds! The performance to price ratio is pure ridiculousness! Can't wait to get them in!

do the hds300s preform well in sealed applications?
Date: 2/28/2014
James, We don't suggest putting them in Sealed Enclosures as the suspension is built for ported applications. However if you do go sealed use our box specs without the port!

For a single HDS315, 5^ft NET is great. For a pair you could do 8^ft. NET. Remember a single sub in the right enclosure will sound a lot better than a pair in the wrong enclosure.

Date: 3/8/2014
So i should go with a singal 15" if i do that ill get the hdc3 15 would it be good in about 5.1cubes???
Denzel Garner

I have a custom built box for my awkward shaped trunk and was looking at a pair of hds3 12. The box is sealed. Will they perform well in a sealed enclosure?

Need to know the displacement of the hdc3 18
Date: 6/6/2014
Ok so I'm debating if the hds200 15 can take my audiopipe apcl 1000.1d at 1ohm??? Or 2 12s at 1ohm I've seen a video that the audio pipes are under rated so I know it will do 1500rms seen the apcl 1500 do 2000rms@ 1 ohm and at .5ohms do 2800
Date: 8/22/2014
I would love for you guys to make an HDS300 18"!!!

Date: 11/28/2014
I am going with(2) of the HDC3 15 Subs and a Q1-2200D running both subs at 1 ohms. I am also trying out the Q4-90 on (2) pairs of MB Quarts Coax and a Pair of Kicker 6x9's. I am having my alternator beef up to 200 amps and I have (2) yellow top Optima batteries and (1) Kinetik HC3800 Battery supplying power to my Q1-2200D and this is on my 1994 Hyundai Elantra 4 door. I have removed the back seat for the custom enclosure recommended by Soundqubed Zak D. I will be the first to have these products in Bakersfield Ca. I am expecting to have the system up and running in a week and a half. I will keep everyone posted. I can't wait!!!!!

You should make the logo color an option. I just bought 2HDS3 12s.. still breaking them in, but man these things beat. Have them running on about 1000 watt rms @4ohm and there just craving for more power. Other than the logo(cause i want a red Q) these things pound. I definitely recommened these to everyone. Waiting on my friends HDC3 to come in the mail next

My nephew is new to the sound scene and has played around with pioneer, kicker, Sony, and he showed up one day with a HDC4 on a tiny generic amp and he was like I finally got a decent sub but it just doesn't hit like your JL13w7. I said let's try it out on my JL amps and my electrical and he was astonished at how hard this one 12" inch sub hit. Honestly it was every bit as loud as the 13w7 just not as musical but man do they hammer on 1300true watts. I can only imagine what it would sound like on 2000watts. I will be doing a competition setup in my ford hooptie soon and I'm gonna run 2 hdc415d1's off 2 4500's. That should get me into the low 150's no problem. Been out of the competition scene since late 90's but have always had sq setups. Can't wait to hit the Kane's and blow out some windshields.
